Help us create better digital infrastructure for Mendocino County!
EDFC is working on a strategic plan for “Digital Infrastructure for Mendocino County.” We need your feedback to understand the current status of access in our county and what areas we need to improve. The survey takes approximately 3 ½ minutes. Upon survey completion, you will have a chance to win a gift certificate to a local business of your choice* (restrictions apply).
Take the survey and get a chance to win $50
* The local business must serve all ages, and may not be used for the purposes of purchasing off-sale alcohol, tobacco, or other age-restricted products. EDFC Board of Directors and Staff are ineligible to win.
We are also seeking feedback from businesses and institutions. If you would like to provide additional feedback about non-residential use of broadband for your organization, please click here.
Improving Digital Infrastructure in Mendocino County
EDFC serves as the County of Mendocino’s Broadband Coordinator. Our goal is to work on long term strategies to improve access to the necessary digital infrastructure for the future of our community. High Speed Internet is a key component of economic growth and development. It is also essential infrastructure for everything from schools, to hospitals, to governments, and local businesses.
In our role, EDFC represents Mendocino County in the North Bay North/Coast Broadband Consortium, a collaboration between Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and Mendocino Counties to improve access to broadband on the North Coast.
- Identify projects and potential sources of funds for specific broadband projects
- Complete the Mendocino County Broadband/Connectivity 5 Year Strategic Plan
EDFC is a member of, and works very closely with the Broadband Alliance of Mendocino County, a grassroots community-based organization. For more information about the Alliance please visit www.mendocinobroadband.org .
