We are currently exploring the development of a co-work space in downtown Ukiah as a hub for entrepreneurs & ideas.

The Economic Development & Financing Corporation of Mendocino (“EDFC”) in partnership with the West Company, Local Works, and the “Ed Wing” of the Ukiah United Methodist Church is working to create a hub of entrepreneurship for Mendocino County.  An open house will be held on Monday August 10th, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at 205 N Bush Street in Ukiah.

Co-working is a style of work that involves a shared working environment and is gaining popularity with companies like Next Space in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Share Exchange in Santa Rosa.

The core vision for the west side facility located at 205 N Bush Street, is to create a co-working center which will provide a hub of entrepreneurship for people seeking to escape the distractions of their home office or the isolation of operating a micro-business in a remote location. The facility is not only about the physical space, but the managed mix of participants and partners, which will create a community of creativity, vibrancy, and entrepreneurship.
